This Privacy Notice describes how MyTeeTrip ("MyTeeTrip", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our website, AI golf trip planner, and related services (the "Service"). MyTeeTrip is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

2. Categories of personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials, and authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in identifiers).
- Trip and preference data: destinations, dates, group size, budget, skill level, and itineraries you generate or save.
- Support communications: messages you send us by email or contact form.
- Usage and telemetry data: pages viewed, features used, generation requests, error logs, and approximate session timing.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and language settings.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session and preference cookies described in section 9.
Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full card number.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Provide the Service (account creation, AI itinerary generation, saving trips) — performance of our contract with you.
- Customer support — performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in resolving your requests.
- Service security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest in protecting users and the platform.
- Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interest in improving the Service.
- Marketing communications (if you opt in) — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal and tax obligations — compliance with our legal obligations.
4. How we share your data
We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and subprocessors — cloud hosting, database, authentication, analytics, email delivery, and customer support tooling acting on our instructions.
- Stripe, Inc. (Merchant of Record) — Stripe handles payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- AI model providers — to generate itineraries, your trip prompts may be processed by third-party AI APIs under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit advisers where necessary.
- Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or applicable adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Account and trip data are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to comply with legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction or deletion of your data;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- request portability of your data;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege database policies. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies required to keep you signed in and operate the Service, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control non-essential cookies via your browser settings.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified by updating the "Last updated" date above or by email where appropriate.
